The new version not only gives you access to more than 30,000 radio stations, but also more than 600,000 podcasts. You can listen to podcasts, subscribe to podcasts, download episodes, save favorites, and more. What makes our new app so special? The app adapts to your individual use.

The app is divided into the following areas:

FOR YOU ・ RADIO ・ PODCAST ・ SEARCH

FOR YOU

The FOR YOU section is your home page, your personal feed. It adapts to your listening habits and lists your personal favorite channels and podcasts. So you can easily continue listening where you left off and get recommendations that match your listening habits. It keeps everything in view for your ears. Here you'll find your most recently listened stations & podcasts and your favorites. Also your downloads, new episodes of your favorites, and the option to continue listening to podcast episodes.

RADIO

The RADIO section is divided into 'My Radio' and 'Discover'. Under 'Discover' you will find the most popular stations in clear categories. Editorial recommendations provide exciting inspiration and give you a quick overview of the diverse content. New favorite channels are always just a tap away. 'My Radio' is the place where you can find and manage all your radio favorites.

PODCAST

There are now many new podcast options! The PODCAST section is also divided into two sections: 'My Podcasts' and 'Discover'. In the 'Discover' section you will find the most popular podcasts on different topics, clearly categorized. This way you can get the inspiration you need to discover even more favorite podcasts from the huge amount of audio content on offer.

In the 'My Podcasts' section, you can manage your favorites and listen to episodes. You can play or download episodes directly. You can listen to downloaded episodes whenever and wherever you want, even when you're offline. The variable playback speed optimizes your listening pleasure. Enable the Auto-Delete option to save space on your smartphone or tablet. Episodes you've already heard can be removed automatically. Auto-Play always plays the next episode from the current playlist. Of course, you can also receive notifications when a new episode of your favorite podcasts is available. If you can't go fast enough, activate 'skip silent parts of podcasts' to automatically remove seconds of silence. And speaking of speed: Set how many seconds you want to fast-forward and rewind. 

SEARCH

We'll find the content you're looking for. Use our easy-to-find SEARCH for stations, podcasts, episodes, and songs. You can use the episode search to find exciting discussions and special topics for individual episodes. Use song search to find out which stations are currently playing your favorite song.

SETTINGS

In the 'Settings' you will find the option to stream only in Wi-fi or to download only in Wi-fi. You can also select the Auto-Delete and Auto-Play options here. Auto-Delete removes all downloads you have listened to from your device after 48 hours. Auto-Play allows continuous playback. The app will automatically play the next episode from the current context. You will also find the 'skip silent parts' option mentioned above here, and you can change the seconds you want to fast-forward and rewind. 

Of course, the sleep timer and an alarm clock are still available. The sleep timer lets you relax and fall asleep with your favorite station or podcast and ends playback at the desired time. Do you want to be woken up by your favorite station? Then use the radio alarm clock and start directly with your favorite station on selected days. You can select and use both via the 'Settings' or directly via the channel or podcast detail view.
